Junge Steirerinnen und Steirer wollen Eigentum – Kaufnebenkosten werden massiv reduziert.

Zwei Drittel der Steirerinnen und Steirer bevorzugen beim Wohnen Eigentum gegenüber

Miete. Um den Traum der eigenen vier Wände leistbarer zu machen hat das Land Steiermark

bereits eine umfassende Neugestaltung der Wohnbauförderung auf den Weg gebracht und

plant noch vor dem Sommer ein weiteres Wohnpaket, um die Wohnbaumilliarden des Bundes

bestmöglich zu nutzen. Eine Erleichterung, die gerade auch für Jungfamilien eine echte

Entlastung bringt, wurde bereits umgesetzt. Seit dem 2. April fallen zwei von drei

Nebengebühren beim Kauf einer Wohnimmobilie weg. Damit sparen sich Häuslbauer und

Wohnungskäufer bis zu 11.500 Euro.

Landesrätin Simone Schmiedtbauer, Jugendstaatssekretärin Claudia Plakolm und JVP-

Landesobfrau Antonia Herunter begrüßen diese Entlastung. Gemeinsam haben sie eine

Baustelle in Kalsdorf besucht, wo aktuell 72 geförderte Mietwohnungen mit Kaufopon von

der ÖWG gebaut werden.

„Hier sieht man, dass der Wohnbau in der Steiermark trotz den Herausforderungen gut

funkoniert. Gerade Jungfamilien, die es durch die unsägliche KIM-Verordnung ohnehin schon

schwer haben, müssen aber weiter entlastet werden. Die Abschaffung der Grundbuchs- und

Pfandrechtseintragungsgebühr ist hier ein wichger Meilenstein, der unsere steirischen

Bemühungen für leistbareres Wohnen ergänzt“, sagt Wohnbaulandesrätin Simone

Schmiedtbauer.

„Bauprojekte wie dieses in Kalsdorf stehen für mich sinnbildlich dafür, was es für junge

Menschen in dem Land braucht. Nämlich die Aussicht, dass ich mir mit meiner Arbeit auch

etwas schaffen kann, ganz konkret die eigenen vier Wände. Dieser Traum ist in den

vergangenen Jahren für viele in unerreichbare Ferne gerückt. Ich halte es daher für den absolut

richgen Schrit, mit dem neuen Wohnpaket eine Eigentumsoffensive zu starten. Das Paket

umfasst insgesamt € 2,2 Milliarden und besteht aus mehreren Maßnahmen, die darauf

abzielen, dass es für junge Menschen wieder möglich wird, sich Eigentum aufzubauen“, sagt

Staatssekretärin Claudia Plakolm.

„Der Wunsch nach Eigentum ist bei jungen Menschen immer noch ungebrochen. Mit der

Abschaffung von Nebengebühren beim Erwerb von Wohnraum ist ein wichger Schrit zu

leistbarem Wohnen gesetzt worden. Mit einer Ersparnis von bis zu 11.500 Euro kann man

bereits eine gute Einbauküche kaufen. Als Junge ÖVP Steiermark wollen wir aber noch einen

Schritt weiter gehen und würden Jugendstartwohnungen mit einer kostengünstigen Miete

sehr begrüßen. So wäre leistbarer Wohnraum für junge Menschen sichergestellt und die

Möglichkeit geschaffen, dass sie sich Rücklagen für einen späteren Eigentumserwerb aufbauen

können“, so Landesobfrau Antonia Herunter.
